Jim Hurley Memorial Skate:The Blackfalds District Agricultural Society hosts the Jim Hurley Memorial Skate every Sunday evening in the winter months. Jim Hurley believed that everyone in the Town of Blackfalds should be able to skate at the Multiplex. In his honor, the Blackfalds District Agricultural Society provides one hour of free skating on Sunday Nights from 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm beginning in October and running until the end of March.

The Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held the third Tuesday in October. Elections to the Board of Directors will be held followed by our meeting at 7 pm. Membership to the Society is $1 a year. This group promotes many worthwhile activities in the community. Please consider joining us.

Blackfalds District Agricultural Society meeting are held on the third Tuesday of each month (except July & Aug) upstairs in the Ag. Room at the Blackfalds Multi-Plex. Membership is only $1.

We had Butterfield Acres join us again this year. The petting zoo is always a huge hit with children and adults alike.
